Deepfake Booth at AI for Good and European Humanitarian Forum 2025

With the rise of generative AI, deepfakes have started to disrupt our personal and professional lives. They can be used for many malicious purposes, including disinformation, fraud and scams.

To raise awareness of the real-life consequences of deepfakes, we developed the Deepfake Booth at EPFL (IVRL, Mediacom), in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross. In this immersive, interactive environment, participants can dive into a world of deepfakes and experience what it means to face them.

We are happy to have presented this deepfake booth at the European Humanitarian Forum 2025 in Brussels at the AI for good summit in Geneva.
